1. Scope

1.1

This Standard covers safety belts of the tongue buckle type and lanyards. It may be applied to an assembly consisting of a belt with an attached lanyard, or to a belt alone, or to a lanyard alone.

This Standard does not cover specific designs for safety b elts, except insofar as design limitations are necessary to provide an acceptable level of service.
